Short answer: Ivan Lee says he built an MCP server for his Whoop band and connected Claude to it, so it knows how he slept and his activity and gives a daily training plan that adapts to his schedule.
From Episode 56: He Built Siri at Apple. Now His Private AI Runs Inside the FBI, Google, and Netflix., starting at 22:14.
Sam Nadler [22:13]: Yeah. Have you discovered in just your own use of agents any, like, favorite use cases?
Ivan Lee [22:20]: The thing that I most recently built on Claude even without Duet, I have this, Whoop bracelet, and I created an MCP server for it, and I connected Claude to it so it knows how well I slept yesterday, and it tracks my activity every day and gives me a dynamic training plan for the day. I... You need to go to the gym. You need to run. You need to take a rest day. You didn't get enough sleep, so you shouldn't be doing these things. So I really enjoyed that because it literally adapts daily to, what happened. And, like, if I was too busy or I was at a conference, it understands that.
Jordan Metzner [22:57]: That's pretty awesome. Now that, like, everybody can hack into all these devices and make their own version of it seems like maybe that's also a new opportunity for, like, new open source hardware where people will be able to, like, kinda pick out your own version of how you wanna connect it. I mean, like, an alternative to Eight Sleep that's open source with... You kinda pick out your app, your favorite app, etcetera, and kinda connect it all. But, yeah, it's super cool. And obviously, just have your agent do it for you, is even better.
Sam Nadler [23:23]: Ivan, where can people find you?
Ivan Lee [23:24]: Best place to connect would be on LinkedIn. I believe my tag is just I y lee, so shoot me a message there and happy to chat anytime. And, of course, our website, datasaur.ai.
Sam Nadler [23:33]: Amazing. Thank you, everyone.
Jordan Metzner [23:35]: Yeah. Thanks, Ivan. Thanks for joining us.
Ivan Lee [23:36]: Absolutely.
Sam Nadler [23:37]: Alright. See you, everyone.
